Our Story
We started The Titan Board after noticing something in our own kitchen that we couldn’t ignore: our plastic chopping boards were slowly breaking down into the food we were preparing for our family.
Where It Started
Like most families, we never thought too deeply about our chopping boards. They were just there, used every day for fruit, vegetables, meat, packed lunches, quick dinners, and everything in between. But over time, the plastic boards started to tell a different story. Deep knife marks, stains that would not wash out, odd smells, and tiny plastic shavings appearing every time food was prepared. Once we noticed it, we could not unsee it. If the board was wearing down under the knife, the question became obvious: where was that plastic going?
Finding Titanium
We looked at the usual alternatives first. Wooden boards looked beautiful, but they needed constant oiling, careful drying, and extra attention after cutting meat or fish. Plastic was convenient, but it scratched too easily and never felt truly clean once those deep grooves appeared. We wanted something simpler, stronger, and more hygienic for everyday family cooking. That search led us to titanium. A material known for being durable, clean, non-porous, and built to last. It felt like the kitchen upgrade we had been looking for.
A Family Project
The Titan Board was built around one simple idea: if we would not use it in our own kitchen, we would not sell it to yours. This started as a family problem, so it had to become a family-first solution. Every decision came back to real homes, real cooking, and the small daily choices that help us feel better about what we put on the table. We did not want to create another kitchen gadget. We wanted to create something useful, reliable, and worth keeping.
